Our Response to Coronavirus

At Cloud 9 Care we have worked extremely hard throughout the pandemic to ensure that we took appropriate action at each stage. Throughout, we were guided by the information from national and local government and the professional guidance from Public Health England.

We continue to follow the procedures set out for the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment and we are pleased to reassure clients and staff that we hold a significant stock of gloves, aprons, fluid repellent masks, surgical masks and face shields.

Our office is now open to visitors by appointment, but we continue to operate safely, with appropriate social distancing measures in place, scrupulous attention to hand-hygiene and additional cleaning provision. We have secured extra office space to ensure that we can operate safely on a long-term basis.

We have now returned to full-service delivery and are happy to accept new enquiries. During the height of the pandemic, we developed new ways of working to ensure the safety of clients and staff, some of which we have incorporated into our on-going practice.

All our staff have received both their vaccinations and it is now a condition of employment that all newly recruited staff must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Our carers have been absolutely amazing throughout this dreadful period and we cannot begin to thank them for all that they have done and all that they continue to do. They have put themselves in harm's way to ensure that the most vulnerable people in our society received the care that they needed. Home Care workers are the unsung heroes of the pandemic.
